The diamond and sapphire ring that adorns the finger of tennis star Caroline Wozniacki have sparked the rumor of her engagement. Only a couple of month ago the golden couple Rory McIlroy and Wozniacki had denied that they are engaged but this sapphire ring has sparked the rumors once again.

Last month, Wozniacki had to tweet a denial that the Co Down golfer has proposed to her. It was after Sascha Bajin who is practice partner of Serena Williams’s tweeted congratulations to them. So when she was spotted with the sapphire ring in Australia, media outlets again drew a wrong conclusion. This special ring resembled the engagement ring of Kate Middleton and has large sapphire and diamond. This ring could be seen on her left hand when she arrived to play her first match in the Brisbane International competition.

The couple has been dating since 2011 and was even featured in Forbes magazine's influential list of 30 under 30. Though this couple is not contemplating marriage, this couple's relationship has taken a more serious turn after beau and ace golfer McIlroy bought a €8m luxury home in Florida. He is expected to share the six-bedroom home, which is situated just a few miles from Tiger Woods's estate, with Wozniacki.

Given its size and the fact that it’s a Neil Lane ring, I’d say it is worth at least $100,000. Maybe a little more.” told a diamond expert.

Tony had really taken the matter very seriously and his efforts paid off when during the Monday’s dramatic finale Blakeley said yes!
