New York Bridal Week which took between 13 to 15 October brought a variety of designer bridal wear. Many designers went with short dresses and extra long headpieces. The traditional white was more on ramp and even Vera Wang, unlike last year, chosen white for her bridal collection. While there were traces of yesteryear fashion, the new waves have surely established newer trends.

Though it has been more than a year, Kate Middleton’s iconic bridal gown is hard to forget. Like the Duchess’s gown, the wedding dresses in the coming season will also have laces and long sleeves. The bridal week has significantly showcased laces. Long sleeves were a bit surprising yet they were a pleasant surprise.

The runways have showed some illusion. The intricate lacework on neckline has given an edge to the bridal trend. And this year it was more adorned in illusion neckline form.
