The Academy Award winner has received the humanitarian honor at Governors Awards. Dressed in a black lace Versace ball gown which she complemented with a loose chignon and a pair of dazzling diamond studs, Jolie was all beaming with humble gratitude. She has her fiancé Brad Pitt and son Maddox at her side for the award function.
Thanking Brad after receiving the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, Jolie said, “My love. Your support and your guidance make everything I do possible.”
She also addressed Maddox with choked throat, “I'm not going to cry, I promise, I'm not going to embarrass you. You and your brothers and sisters are my happiness and there is no greater honor in this world than being your mom."
Jolie received the award for her tireless efforts as a philanthropist.
