Latest name to join the band wagon is Courtney Bingham, who recently got engaged to Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx. He had announced his wedding plans on Facebook but E!online has managed to get the photo of the bride-to-be with her amazing engagement ring.

The magazine states that they spotted the model as she stopped by a local Los Angeles farmers market on Tuesday. Though she was looking really chic in her shiny hair and Chanel bag but the real star was the huge rock she was wearing on her ring finger.

 

For all those who want to know the details it is indeed massive with a 6-carat oval-cut diamond. If you have a stunning ring like this you can also have a very casual dress up to get all the attention on the ring. As for Courtney Bingham, she wore a very basic regular pair of jeans, blazer and striped shirt so that the ring gets all the attention it deserves.

Nikki Sixx announced on her facebook page that he has finally proposed to his girlfriend of two years. He wrote that when he along with Courtney was in St Bart's he popped the question and she said YES. He added his gratitude to all have tweeted and posted online their congratulations. He also mentioned that both of them and their families are more than happy.

While his fiancée took to Twitter to express her excitement she tweeted a picture of herself at hotel in Beverly Hills with a champagne bottle and wrote that she is celebrating her engagement at her favorite place on earth!'

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip Celebrated 65 Years of Marriage

Many congratulations to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip who marked their Blue Sapphire anniversary together on Tuesday.

The royal couple has an association of successful 65 years. A journey started back in 1939 when she was a princess and he a member of British Royal Navy. The future queen met the Greek and Danish royal family member while attending his cousin Princess Marina of Greece’s wedding.

They quickly became pen pals and later married at Westminster Abbey in 1947. Now 91, Prince Phillip had proposed the royal lady with a platinum ring holding heirloom diamonds from his mother’s tiara.

Prince Phillip was involved in the design which included a 3 carat round solitaire in the center flanked with 5 smaller diamonds on each shoulder.

The couple, who now have four children and eight grandchildren, has been continually celebrating landmarks together. Last year’s Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty’s reign is the very fresh celebration.

But the Blue Sapphire anniversary is a special occasion as no British royal couple has stayed together for so long as the Queen and Duke.

There romantic journey has touched another milestone and they are truly made for each other. We wish them many more years of togetherness and marital bliss.

Auction for a good cause!

Breast cancer is a disease that requires early detection for complete recovery and research is on to find more effective treatment of this disease. Breast Cancer Research Foundation founded by Evelyn in 1993 is doing just that. But research requires funding and some of Estee and Evelyn Lauder's most precious diamonds are going up for auction to raise money for this cause.

There are in all 35 pieces in this auction including a 47-carat necklace owned by the Duchess of Windsor. Auction is scheduled to take place next month on December 5 and Sotheby's have predicted that the collection will garner somewhere around $13 million.

This awe-inspiring jewel ensemble will include a heart-shaped diamond worth $2million which was once owned by the Duchess of Windsor, though now it is a part of Estee and Evelyn Lauder’s treasure trove. Also in this collection is a 47.14-carat yellow diamond which was worn by the Duchess as a ring but was refashioned as a diamond pendant necklace by a reputed jeweler for Estee Lauder in 1978.

Besides this there is also rare intense Pink diamond ring. This ring weighing 6.54 carats has $4 million to $5 million as a pre-sale estimate.

Experts are of the view that the heart-shaped jewel will be the highlight of this auction because it has caught the fancy of both the auctioneers as well as jewelry fans. Twenty-five-years ago in 1987, when Duchess of Windsor's collection was auctioned this particular diamond was missing. Only now the auctioneers have realized that Estee Lauder who was a close friend of the duchess and duke had bought this diamond in the mid-1970s through the lawyer of the duchess.

The other jewelry up for sale include a diamond and ruby bracelet set in 18-carat white gold, a ruby and diamond brooch circa 1940 and platinum, 18-carat gold, ruby and diamond necklace circa 1950, besides a Platinum and diamond internally flawless pear-shaped earrings estimated at $1.5 million and a platinum and diamond ring weighing 22.16 carats estimated at $3 million (right)

 

Speaking about this auction Estee's son, Leonard Lauder, said that he knows that both his mother and his dear wife Evelyn would be pleased that these items are being sold to raise funds for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Pantone Spring2013 Color Forecast for Jewelry

Pantone Color Institute has released its color report for Spring2013. While its fall and the next spring is a little far to come, we couldn’t wait to see the expected jewelry in style. After all it is good to be prepared for the upcoming season’s fashion.

Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of Pantone Color Institute, explained the balancing power as the inspiration behind the latest forecast. The novel neutral shades are the focus of the new list where it shows the balance between light and bright. Colors are a means of self expression and as colors to explain balance have never been in thoughts earlier, sense of balance is a theme of Spring2013 colors prediction.

So here we go with the Pantone 2013 spring colors in jewelry:

Monaco Blue:

A hybrid of cobalt and dull navy, this anchoring color is loved by Tommy Hilfiger, Lela Rose, Herve Leger and Tia Cibani for its wear ability. Leatrice describes Monaco blue as ‘classic shade offering stability and depth to the entire palatte.’

Dusk Blue:

It is a neutral color to bring calm and serenity. Blue is a neutral color of nature and this shade reminds of the early morning sky when everything is quite and relaxed.

Emerald:

Emerald is a little more vivid of the palette. This brighter color has a sense of clarity and an emerald sparkle attached to it. It is one of the favorite red carpet shades in jewelry and often donned by celebrities. Also being the signature color of spring, it has every reason to get embedded in your mind with a great effect.

Grayed Jade:

Another neutral shade for spring 2013 Grayed Jade as the name sounds has the color of Jade with a strong grey undertone. A sophisticated touch with a calming influence is what this member of green family can relate to.

Linen:

Linen is another version of the kind of nude shade that gives a very light and airy feel. It’s a neutral color that is a must have for spring.

African Violet:

It is a floral color with an exotic touch. It’s not a bright purple but the one with a little kick for spring.

Nectarine:
